Every piece I create for you is carefully made and inspected to my high standards – the same standards I’ve used when sewing for my own family all these years. When you buy from me, you’re getting something that’s built to last and made with real care.
My journey with sewing began in my childhood home, where at ten years old, I would sit beside my mother, learning to patch our family’s clothing by hand. Those early lessons in needle and thread planted seeds that would grow into a lifelong passion for creating with fabric. By junior high, I was making my own clothes, and by the time I reached adulthood, I delighted in crafting clothes for my children. Over the years, my sewing evolved beyond clothing into creating pieces for the home – cozy blankets, decorative throws, and welcoming sofa pillows. What started as gifts for family and friends eventually made its way to our local Farmers Markets. I’ve also had the honor of creating wedding gowns and providing alterations.
Now in retirement, I’ve found the gift of time to fully embrace my passion through this website. But some things never change – I remain as particular about quality today as I was during those first stitches in my earlier years. Each piece that leaves my sewing room must pass my careful inspection, carrying with it decades of experience, attention to detail, and a genuine love for sewing.
